Federal officials are preventing Hurricane Katrina victims in government trailer parks from being interviewed by the media unless a FEMA agent is present at all times.
Seriously, what is up with this? These people aren’t in jail (or are they, by the looks in that picture maybe they are). What is the justification here for this crap? Seems like at least some people in congress are taking notice and aren’t happy.

I wish the journalist that was asked to leave had told them to fuck off. I wonder what the police would have done when they were called. Would they have done their job and said “Hey, there’s nothing against the law going on here”, or would they have done what the beauracracy told them.
